This is the original UK LP, THE BEETHOVEN SYMPHONIES, NUMBER 5 IN C MINOR OP. 67 / OVERTURE 'KING STEPHEN' OP. 117 with OTTO KLEMPERER Conducting The Philharmonia Orchestra, 1960 Stereo 1st Press on the COLUMBIA label SAX 2373, complete with it's original EMI 'Use Emitex' die-cut inner sleeve
Matrix numbers are, Side 1:- YAX 457-5, Side 2:- YAX 458-2
Stamper codes are, Side 1:- 1 / R, Side 2:- 1 / R
Both Matrix numbers and Stamper codes identify this as a Very 1st Pressing
The original 1960 UK Very 1st issue UK Garrod and Lofthouse flipback cover is in a EX+ condition. The beautifully glossy thickly laminated front maintains all it's original bright vibrant colours, superb!!. The lovely broad spine is fully intact, solid, clean and perfectly readable. The back of the cover is nice and clean and only slighly aged, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits
The vinyl is in condition a Superb EX+++ condition!!!!, gleaming with all it's original 'Just Pressed glossy shine and lustre!, I have played both sides (very carefully!) **the vinyl plays EX+++ **, playing with stunning crisp clear clarity, amazing Stereo sound!!!!. Their in NO sound distortion, NO skips, NO jumps, No sticking. The quality of this RARE 1960 UK Stereo 1st Pressing is TOP TOP QUALITY!, playing with stunning rich tones, warmth and depth!! THE CLARITY and CRISPNESS is SIMPLY SUBLIME!, a great LP and a sheer joy and privilage to listen too!, STUNNING!!
The lovely Stereo COLUMBIA labels are in again EX+++ condition!!!, beautifully clean, maintaining all their original bright fresh colour, their is no unwanted writing, no scuffs, the centre spindle hole shows no wear!, lovely labels!
The vinyl is housed in it's original 1960 UK Very 1st issue polythene lined 'Use Emitex' die-cut EMI inner sleeve. The inner sleeve is in MINT (minus) condition, no unwanted writing and no seam splits, BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE!
