vinyl: VG/plays VG+ (45 has it's share of surface scratches/scuffs/marks, but nothing really deep at all. Music plays LOUD and STRONG with a bit of pop and crackle, but nothing really intrusive or all too distracting. The pop & crackle is mainly evident in the quiet sections before and after the actual songs. Quite an enjoyable playing copy, actually! Labels are in great shape with very little wear and one very small "25" sticker on "SHE'LL BE BACK" side; no writing at all on labels. Please see pics)

This auction is for the ULTRA RARE "THE WICKED OLD WITCH" b/w "SHE'LL BE BACK" 45 by THE BELLS OF RHYMNY, an original Michigan private pressing on DICTO RECORDS. Killer Michigan Psych Garage Fuzz 45 from 1965. The BELLS OF RHYMNY was an early DICK WAGNER headed band featuring some of the same members as the Frosts and The Cherry Slush. This 45 is fairly similar to the sound of the early Dick Wagner & The Frosts 45 on Date, although this one actually is a bit crazier with weirdo "witch" wacked-out vocals bouncing around in the background of "THE WICKED OLD WITCH" and amazing FUZZED OUT guitar on "SHE'LL BE BACK"...both tracks are fuzzy movers and floor fillers, upbeat and driving with a Michigan garage fried-out freakbeat groove. Both tracks arranged and produced by Dick Wagner. This RARE 45 rarely shows up for auction and is in deservedly in quite high demand among underground collectors and djs.
