Description

THE BIG, BIG SOUND FROM DETROIT RHYTHM AND BLUES FRENCH MOTOWN LP. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class.

Part of my personal collection of mainly 60s Soul, Northern and Motown vinyl which will be listed over the next few weeks. Numerous French 60s EPs and 45s with picture sleeves will be included.

Please see label/sleeve/disc photos.

Unique French compilation LP released as part as January 1965 pre-promotion to launch of Tamla Motown label in France which occurred in April that year. Possibly first Motown content LP issued in non-English speaking country. Discography shows detailed musician listings not permitted elsewhere at that time (not until 1971 did Motown recognise studio musicians on sleeve credits).
