THE BIG BOPPER , RARE "D" LABEL "CHANTILLY LACE"
& "PURPLE PEOPLE EATER"
U.S MONO 45.
A terrific & rare U.S 45 from THE BIG BOPPER on the "D" label, I got this 2nd hand & then had it a short while on my jukebox.
Record labels show some aging with tape marks etc but still have strong print. The record has a terrific shine to & it's now playing on my SEEBURG 201 jukebox & it plays & sounds terrific! It has a few light marks from it's previous life & time on the jukebox, including a 3/4 mark towards the end of side 1, which wasn't audible playing just now. The 201 is a great sounding jukebox that is probably a bit more forgiving than a high end cartridge on a high end HIFI but it certainly sounds great playing now.
