USA ORIGINAL PRESSING VINYL LP IN 'BIKINI' SLEEVE WITH RED, WHITE & BLUE HYPE STICKER.

Some pressings with this UPC code were on white vinyl, and some were on black vinyl. We have no way of knowing which this copy is because it is factory sealed. What we can confirm is that this LP came from a Los Angeles based music industry insider's record collection, it was given to him at the time of release as a promo (hence the small notch cut on the spine). Like many others, he never had time to play all the records that came his way so it went into storage. He has since sold a large part of his collection, some items of which we have been been able to offer for sale. If all the first pressings were on white vinyl, then it is highly likely that this copy is also, but if black vinyl pressings were issued as promos/advance copies, then it is possible that this is a black vinyl disc. We so rarely see copies of this LP in the original sleeve - we rarely saw them when it was first released - and have handled so few down the years, that we are not able to take even an educated guess as to whether the vinyl is black or white in any given sealed copy. The seller buys this copy in the full knowledge that the disc could be on black or white vinyl.

Sealed records are sold as stated in unplayed condition. We cannot accept returns of sealed records under any circumstances unless they are still sealed as shipped. Please notify us with your payment if you want us to open this sealed record and check the merchandise before we ship it.

Seam splits (the disc breaking through the spine of the cover in transit) can occur as part of the shipping process. We always pack carefully, but the only sure way to prevent seam splits in transit is to remove the record from the cover before packing it, which we do with all non-sealed records. At the buyer’s request, we will open a sealed record and pack the vinyl in its protective sleeve separate from the cover. Unless the buyer requests that the sealed record be opened and packed in this manner, we are not liable for any seam splits that may occur in transit.
