A WALK ACROSS THE ROOFTOPS

This is the awesome debut album from the Scottish band The Blue Nile. It was not an instant hit, and released quietly, but is very praised! 

It was reissued in 2012 and 2015.

It was released in the UK on the Linn Records label - the first LP released on that label. It was released in the US on A&M Records, both in 1984. The LP label and the back sleeve say 1983.

This is a US copy on A&M Records.


The Linn hi-fi/turntables+ company decided to start their own record label and the first record they cut on their new cutting lathe to produce their own records was thus LP!

Regarded as a excellent LP to test out your sound system!


This is a duplicate copy from my personal collection, purchased in '84, shrink wrap removed and shelved.

This LP has NEVER BEEN PLAYED. It is minty-fresh and super clean.

The sleeve is in excellent condition with a few tiny scrunches and the cream color shows some tiny darker vintage wear.

Original hype sticker on sleeve and original inner sleeve are intact.

She's a beautiful specimen.
