This is a true first pressing first cover orange and black labels. the original Impulse pressing. Mono A-5, gatefold jacket, deep groove, "RVG" (Rudy Van Gelder) stamped in the deadwax. It is etched in the deadwax: AS5-A and AS5-B. This album was released in 1961.
The IMPULSE record number is: A-5-S Stereo The record is in VG+ condition... a solid and enjoyable play... The vinyl is bright and shiny and it has some scratches that don't affect play very much. There are some ticks on a few songs but nothing too annoying. I play tested this record and it really plays well... The album was well taken care of. The labels are in excellent condition with no writing , stickers or unusual wear at all. Minimal Spindle Wear! The gatefold album cover is in nice condition with about 2 inches of paper loss on the spine... The corners have typical bump wear.... (see pictures) A VERY RARE COPY IN STEREO!
