Description

This is a first pressing mono vinyl 33 RPM LP by The Blues Project (featuring Al Kooper) titled "Projections" on the Verve/Folkways label catalog number FT-3008, released in 1966. This recording is considered to be a 60s classic by many music critics.

I purchased the record new and it has been played exclusively on high end turntables. The original shrink wrap is still attached. The record is in excellent condition with only a few minor marks on the surface which do not affect play. This record does make typical sounds that you might expect to hear on a 50 year old vinyl record such as light surface noise and occasional light pops but there are no skips. This remains a great sounding record at high volume.

The label is in near mint condition. The outer jacket is in near mint condition with only two small staple holes at the top left front corner where the record store had attached a price tag, which was common practice in the 60s (see pictures). There are no seam splits on the jacket. The inner paper sleeve is the original plain paper sleeve in excellent condition except for a small tear in the upper left hand corner which was caused by the initial removal of the record from the jacket with the staples still attached through the sleeve.

I will pack the record outside of the jacket to protect jacket integrity and ship in a sturdy LP mailer with cardboard inserts and bubble wrap for further protection.

Shipping to the USA will be via USPS Media Mail.
