The Buddy Holly Story Buddy Holly and The Crickets
Coral CRL 57279 - 12" - 33-1/3 rpm - Mono LP
This is essentially a "Greatest Hits" album released shortly after Buddy's death. It contains every Top 40 hit Buddy had (including those with the Crickets). Listening to this reminds you of just what a talent was lost back in '59. I play-tested it to see if there are any "issues" with it. Looks great - sounds great. The lack of noise was a pleasant surprise. This Mono LP has the maroon label. The back of the jacket has orange and black print. No writing, stickers, staple holes, or split seams. Plain white inner sleeve. Jacket shows some mild age discoloration.
Songs include: Peggy Sue - Maybe Baby - That'll Be the Day - Oh Boy - Everyday - Rave On - and six more.
