Wow, what you are bidding on is a 33 rpm vintage record by THE BYRDS: TURN, TURN, TURN. This is on the original Columbia Records label from Japan. Near impossible to find 1966 pressing. This is the holy grail of BYRDS collectable! Any questions, email before bidding.
History of this item: In most cases we sell loads of records and I have no idea the history of the item, but this one I do and it's cool. This belonged to a gentleman who was in the Navy in Vietnam, stationed on a helicopter ship (and now a well know artist with paintings in well know galleries). Every few months he got r & r and was able to go to Japan to rest, well instead of resting he went shopping for records. Ironically he has the same taste in music as I did. I thought it was kind of strange that he was in Vietnam yet could haul around records, but he was on a ship and you can do that, I did. He took care of the records all these years and I convinced him to part with a few of his gems. I've been selling records for over 40 years and have never had this.
This is not mint, but very well taken care of. I gave it an excellent (which I think it is), but grading is very subjective. You may think it's a VG++, but it's very very nice and mega rare. Bid accordingly.
