Description

An original 1st mono press of Help on UK Parlophone -1965. Matrix 2/2 - 1st cut. True 1st pressing should exhibit the Lark Mus. abbreviation on side 2 and a space between 'I need you' and the asterisk that follows afterwards [side 1]. Tax Code "MT". The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in the original mono cover with exposed flipbacks. Emitex included. So 100% genuine and complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Those labels are crisp and it is unusual to see the tax code unworn. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. A great copy by any measure - the delivery is clean. This allows you to sit back and marvel at this classic 60's title. Minimal signs of background. There are some incredibly lowkey slow roll-ins on these tracks. You can hear well down into the mix. When you get to those super fussy tracks like Yesterday...it plays great. Very little sign of background. For the vintage highly impressive. It is literally that darn good! Yesterday....Abs Superb with only a couple of crackles in a couple of spots. Much better than most copies.
Cover (Ex-) In great condition and has survived the years in much better condition than many examples. That front is in really nice order - still white with only slightest hint of ageing. Rear looks good too with with minimal ageing - maybe a light touch around opening area. Minimal edge wear. The spine is 90% intact. Very tidy example. Can't knock it.
Inner (Ex-) No splits. Really tidy
