Summary:
The CROWN JEWEL of any Beatles collection, NICE Versions of The Beatles MOMENTOUS UK White Album, in FINE condition, RARELY come on to the open market, let alone MONO examples. The Original FIRST ISSUE Gatefold Sleeve in this COMPLETE Vinyl LP package is numbered 0005887, and is in superb condition.

Detailed LP Description:
The TWO ORIGINAL First Issue MONO Vinyl LPs are on the traditional DARK GREEN Apple label, all bearing ‘Sold in UK Subject to resale.…’ and ‘Mfd in UK’ label text. All four record labels are WITHOUT the wording ‘An E.M.I. Recording’.
ALL Four Record labels are in STUNNING Near Mint condition, CLEAN, UNDAMAGED, UNWORN record labels, with only minimal signs of centre spindle lines.
Matrix/Stamper information:
Disc 1, Side 1 matrix XEX 709-1 & Side 2: XEX 710-1.
Disc 1, Side 1 stampers: 3 MT & Side 2: 7 LG.
Disc 2, Side 3 matrix: XEX 711-1 & Side 4: XEX 712-1.
Disc 2, Side 3 stampers: 3 PO & Side 4: 2 LR.
All four sides of the Vinyl Discs are in Superb Excellent Plus condition, CLEAN, BRIGHT, UNDAMAGED GLOSSY well cared for Vinyl surfaces, with just a few light surface hairlines, there are NO deep scratches or scuffs to any of the vinyl sufaces.
The TWO Vinyl LPs come in their ORIGINAL Matt Black Die Cut Inner Bags, both bags are in Excellent Minus condition, showing a couple of small seam splits and creasing.
And housed in it’s original Excellent Top opening NUMBERED Original FIRST ISSUE gatefold sleeve.
A very CLEAN Front, Back and Inner Gatefold, the spine has the printed wording ‘The Beatles, Stereo PCS 7067-8, Mono PMC 7067-8.
The embossed wording ‘The BEATLES’ and the printed low number of 0005887 are VERY CLEAR. The inside of the Gatefold sleeve is in great condition, the opening edges are FIRM, FLAT and UNDAMAGED, the sleeve shows light age toning, mostly at the spine edge, the spine edge itself has age toning, and an area of about 3” where the laminate has peeled, there is an indentation of a name just below the track listing on the inside of the gatefold.
There are Four ORIGINAL Full Colour GLOSSY PHOTOGRAPHS – one of each Beatle, and an original GLOSSY PAPER photo spacer, all of which are in Near Mint condition, the photo spacer has some creasing.
And an ORIGINAL Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric POSTER printed by Garrod and Lofthouse, also in Excellent condition, the poster is free from pin holes or tearing, and shows just light creasing.
Audio Quality:
BOTH discs play like very well through ALL the tracks, with a STRONG, POWERFUL MONO sound. with NO clicks, skips or pops, with just a hint of light back ground crackle, otherwise a really fine and pleasant MONO sound quality, just superb.
The Beatles White Album ORIGINAL and COMPLETE example of one of the most INFLUENTIAL Albums of the 20th Century will, no doubt, continue to RISE - especially relevant to LOWER NUMBERED versions.
