Description

The cake LP on Decca in sealed NM- condition up for sale. Only call out is a bb hole punched in the corner of the jacket, outside of the record's area. The record is sealed/MINT! The Cake was a Girl Group which wrote their own material. One of the ladies married Chris Wood of Traffic, but I believed she died young. There have been several reprisals of the band, but I believe only one of the three main members remain as of this writing. The band behind them featured Dr. John, and several of the Wrecking Crew members (Mike Deasy, Carol Kaye. Jim Horn).... It was recorded at Gold Star Studios in Los Angeles.
