Further Information/Comments This is their fourth LP, their first released on their own Moonshine record label. There's no date (nor any clues that would help date it) and I cannot find any information anywhere that even hints at it's known existence either on the web, from other dealers or in any books, but judging from the dates/frequency previous releases and the music, I'd guess it's 1974/5. All in all a very obscure and impossible to find LP which would be a worthy addition to any collection.
Sleeve notes "This is the fourth Cardinals album, and it reflects the experience Chris Berry, John Edser and Anne Morris have gained over the last few years in pursuit of their somewhat individual musical paths: Chris and John through their teaching, Chris arrangements and John's mastery of various stringed instruments, and Anne, previously the vocalist, but now aldso writing her own songs - two of which are recorded for the first time on this album.
Each song in this selection is given individual treatment with various flute, cello and accordian passages enhancing the familiar Cardinals style. Listen to the gentle love song "Diary", with voice, flute and mandolin and the more traditional rendering of "Last Thing on my Mind" or "Bread andf Fishes" which include banjo and accordian. "Railway Station", features an exquisite cello and flute duo, with the cello played beautifully by Rebecca Aldsersey. The introduction of talented accordianist Alison Edwards has further filled out the sound - for example in "Annie's Song" and "Today"

I am a collector who has been collecting records for nearly 30 years, and these records are either part of my collection that I no longer require, or have acquired over the years as part of a job lot I purchased. My main motivation for selling records is to finance the purchase of further records for my collection.
I have been buying and selling on Ebay since July 2000, and have a 100% positive feedback rate. I pride myself on giving accurate gradings and doing everything I can to ensure that every sale goes smoothly.
I believe that collectable records are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them, so all my auctions have a realistic starting price in relation to their rarity and/or condition.

My gradings are based on the system used by Record Collector magazine as described below
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.??
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.??
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Postage and PackagingAll records are sent securely packaged in purpose made mailers with at least 2 cardboard stiffeners, clearly marked fragile.I always remove the record from the outer sleeve (to avoid seam split whilst in transit) and then insert the record and sleeve into a brand new polythene sleeve.
I only post items as per Ebay and Paypal terms & conditions, which require that items are sent by a method that is trackable. Due to this, please be advised that you check that the postages rates listed below are acceptable to you before bidding, but please be assured, P&P charges are only those incurred and represent no profit to me. UK packages are sent 2nd class recorded, as there appears to be only a minor difference in delivery times between 1st & 2nd class which the additional charge does not seem to warrant. If required, I will send 1st class (if requested) but there will be an additional charge to cover the extra cost.
I enter the tracking number for all packages on to Ebay either on the day of dispatch or the following day, so that you are fully aware of the progress of dispatched items.
I do combined shipping, so if you win more than one item it will work out a lot cheaper on the postage if I send them in the same mailer. If you purchase more than one record, please await receiving the invoice from me on the completion of the auction before paying, so that I can calculate the correct postage and you do not overpay.
Please note: If the value of the item, or combined items, exceeds the standard compensation rate, there will be no extra charge to you, as I will cover the additional cost for the increased insurance.
