Description
This very vintage 10" 78rpm recording of THE CARESSER on DECCA RECORDS is in VG+ condition, showing some signs of wear. You can see it in the pictures. This 78, along with approximately 180 others was stored in a leather book for the past 55 years. I have selected only the very best ones to sell and I have taken two pictures of every side, so you can get the best view possible. So, see the pictures, they are part of the description. This is a nice, rare find in great condition. If you are following my listings of this amazing record collection, you know that you can buy with complete confidence! This collection is full of recordings and album covers in condition that is nearly impossible to find. I only have one of each item, so when they are gone, they're gone. If you are upgrading your collection, or just getting started, these are the records collectors dream of. Its like they came out of a time capsule.
I grade these records by holding them up to bright halogen light. I have had some instruction by long time record enthusiasts and dealers. I am not a professional, but am doing my best due diligence.
This record is from a huge collection of thousands of records that have been in storage under safe climate conditions since 1965. They are first seeing the light of day in July, 2020. The owner of the estate worked for a huge record store from 1954-1964, so all the records in the collection date from that time period, or before. I have completed the task of listing them ALL (FEB 2021). There are several genres: jazz, rock, movie soundtracks, classical, western, Spanish, spoken word, sound effects, special interest... There are 12" LPs, 10" LPs, 45s and 78s. Every single record album has been in a plastic bag of its own AND each record is in a plastic protector, even if there is a paper inner sleeve. The 78s were in books. There were 26 boxes in this condition. Unless otherwise stated, the albums are clean and shiny, the records appear near mint. This is the opportunity to really upgrade your collection! Feel free to ask questions, of course. My buyers throughout this process have been thrilled with these records (take a look at the feedback). If, for any reason you are not completely satisfied, I will make it right. I ship immediately after payment is received and I pack very carefully in LP mailers. I double box orders I feel need it. If for some reason you can't see the entire record in my pictures, its just an oversight on my part. There is NOTHING to hide here! I will combine shipping.
