THE CARS "Candy-O" rare ADVANCE WHITE LABEL PROMO LP from 1979 (Elektra 6-2-79). This is not your typical WLP edition of Candy-O. This one is very scarce SPECIAL EDITION WLP which has a 37 second INTRO track and 13 second CLOSE track on side 1 and 30 second CLOSE track on side 2 with comments about the release of the album. Also the catalog number on label is 6-2-79 which I assume was the release date. Also has (AR) on label which I think stands for ADVANCE RELEASE. In all my years of collecting this is the only one I have seen. Their classic second album. Featuring: Let’s go, Candy-O, It’s all I can do, etc. Sleeve is EX. Record is EX.
