Description

The Carter Family was an American folk music group that recorded and performed between 1927 and 1956. Regarded as one of the most important music acts of the early 20th century, they had a profound influence on the development of bluegrass, country, southern gospel, pop, and rock, as well as the American folk revival in the 1960s. This 78 RPM shellac record includes "Wabash Cannonball" (Side A) and "I Never Will Marry" (side B), two of their most popular songs. Record is in Very Good Plus (VG+) conditions with a clean playback. Runout includes the catalog numbers, B-8350-A and B. The record is in an original Bluebird sleeve. Well packed with extra cardboard and bubble wrap. From the Country Western Music Collection curated by Mulligan Books and Records.
