You are bidding on an ORIGINAL 7"single by THE CAT titled "Hit The Road Jack", made in Thailand in 1966 .Label: ARC. Catalog Number :ART 0099.
One of the MADDEST cover versions ever made, this version of Ray Charles´"Hit the Road Jack" features MALE and FEMALE vocals, no, make that SCREAMING. The girl really tries her best/bad attitude and the guy shouts "WHAT YOU SAYYYYYYYYYYYY????! at the top of his lungs. The whole thing in very funny Thai/English accent. No drums, only piano and handclaps! If you search well, you can find some samples of this song on the Net. But believe me , you ´ve never heard anything remotely like this!
B-side is also extremely cool: a reworked version of Elvis Presley´s "Jailhouse Rock" that suddenly mutates into their trademark track "Do The Watusi" !!

Record: VG-:has a warp at edge that doesn´t affect play. Vinyl surface has multiple scuffs .Plays with some surface noise but ENJOYABLE LISTENING nonetheless.
