  THE CATS:  PRESTIGE NEW JAZZ Records NJLP-8217  MONO (Mfd in New Jersey in the early 60's)    SELF TITLED   -  MONO  -  Original Vinyl Album -  This is a Deep Groove, early pressing.  The Run Off Groove. has hand etched on it:  NJLP-8217-A,  and there's a machine stamped RVG in small letters.   The other Side has hand etched   NJLP-8217-B with a machine stamped RVG in small letters.  The Cover is in Very Good condition, with light shelfwear and corner tip dings at the Right Top and Right Bottom.  There is some light edgewear along the Open Side, mostly where the edge of the thin film has turned up.  The Back is free from Yellowing or Age Spots.  The Labels are clean on Both Sides, with some light wear.  The Vinyl Record has one very light and silent "paper scuff".  It doesn't look like it's been played many times.  It looks overall VG++ and both Sides play uniformly around VG++.  HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN GOING ON (Side A, Track 2) has a little more background noise and probably should be graded at a Strong VG+.  I didn't hear any pops or clicks.   I'm trying to accurately grade  these Tracks and not overgrade anything;  I hope that the Sound Clips will speak for themselves.  I've posted some audio clips from every Track on this LP, starting with SIDE A, Track 1.  Click on the BIG MICROPHONE ICON to Download them and listen for yourself.  CRANK IT UP!  I can ship this anywhere in the USA via Media Rate for 4.00. If it sells for $120-$500 to a non-US Bidder, it will have to ship Air Priority, which will run around $52;  I'll have to Insure it for the Full Amount at my expense, and declare Full Value on the Customs Form. If it sells for over $500, it will have to ship EXPRESS MAIL, which will cost around $90.00. Since I will have to insure it, I will have to declare full sales value; if paying with some way other than Paypal, I can ship it any way you want. Paypal rules make it very difficult and expensive to ship anything out of the country now, since they require on-line Tracking Numbers.
