IMPORTANT POSTING INFO
I've never had to do this in 20 years of ebaying, but the Royal Mail service is now such that my previous 100% positive feedback has been impacted due to changes in their different levels of postal services, lack of tracking on some services, and use of inexperienced temps.
To protect you as much as me, items of high value will now ONLY be sent by Special Delivery, which provides next day delivery, full insurance and tracking ability.
There will be no extra cost to you as I will cover the increased cost of this service, but the item will need signing for. Also, the item will ONLY be sent through a physical post office. I've had too many problems with the door step collection service.
This item is relisted as Royal Mail managed to send two separate sales to the same buyer (see feedback for proof of this). Unfortunately, but perhaps understandably, the original buyer didn't believe me when the misdelivered items were returned to me, and when I offered him first refusal on the record (I'd refunded him by this point) he for some reason thought I was "scamming" him, though I'm not quite sure what the scam could have been, and he left the very upsetting feedback you can see.
You can scroll back through years and years of feedback as a seller and see how highly rated and trustworthy I am.
Anyway, on to the record. Im not one for framing my record sleeves, when I buy a used record I buy the one with the best vinyl over any other consideration.
That said, the sleeve is fairly described as excellent, it merely has shelf wear from being in amongst other records (was there when I got it, it’s lived in a sleeve since I bought it. No rips, tears, stickers, or writing.
The vinyl, however, is near perfect. Beautiful and glossy, no visible hairline marks, certainly no big ones, and is a joy to listen to.
According to Wikipedia, the album got mixed reviews. To me it’s one of their finest moments, and fans of the band will know that this was recorded shortly before they entered their “manhattan powdered donut” phase when Tim moved to America…….
