ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Oh, the effect LSD had on young men in late 60's San Francisco. These fellows fancied themselves as early 20th century grifters and cowboy dandies, and played acid-inspired old-timey country and blues. They were regulars (or irregulars, as it were) at SF's Avalon Ballroom and The Red Dog Saloon in Nevada. Record looks a nice and glossy VG+ to VG++, with a few very light surface marks, and plays with great audio quality and very minimal, sub-dominant, or no surface noice, depending on the limitations of your playback system. Cover is VG+, with very minor wear, a 2" seam split top left, and no cuts, holes, stickers, or handwriting. Philips 600-309, original US issue, 1969.

***In regard to grading, I use the Goldmine guide standard. Grading is a subjective exercise.....if you are at all dissatisfied with the record due to a disagreement with my grading of the item, please return it for a refund.

***REALITY CHECK DEPARTMENT: I deal mostly in used collectible records. I will not give a record a grading of near mint unless I know for a fact that it has been played just a few times at most, or is still factory sealed. Records I grade VG++ will often look near mint. Buyer be advised-realistically with most used records, some surface noise way in the background can be part of the deal, especially in silent grooves between songs, and I always ensure that the records I sell at VG condition or better have superb music audio quality when played on a good system.
