Owner got the disc and sleeve from the band in 1981. He and they were living in the Ojai building in Hollywood, owner slept in the Cheifs' closet as a respite from the partying in Tar's punk rock crashpad upstairs. The sleeve, which is original, was obtained since then from a member of the band.
Comes with bonus Cheifs merch! (See list above.) Owner bought the band's t-shirt memorial to original member Bob Glassley in late 2017. Bob passed away on Oct. 17 due to cancer. See the pics: CHEIF OUT is on the front, with a fantastic color photo of Bob live on stage, plus artwork, on the back. Those shirts are no longer available. Size is XL. Owner wore it to an Alice Bag gig, plus two consecutive Junkyard shows, and that's it. It hasn't been washed either, so you can count on the ink still being fresh.
Condition: Sleeve is MINT. Vinyl is VG+. Slight surface noise on intros and outros. Very little scuffs or marks overall. A side has a superficial scratch across the vinyl, also a more visible scuff/scratch about halfway across. Neither affects the music. B side has two superficial scratches across the vinyl, also not audible in the music. The label on both sides is pristine! No spindle or other marks. Vinyl originally came in a plain white sleeve, which is VG+ (for what it's worth) with wrinkling, a fold in the corner, some tattering at opening, very slight yellowing.
