Released during 2016 and now getting hard to find as a complete boxed set, here's a chance to pick up this second volume boxed set of seven 7 inch vinyl singles compiled by Ady Croasdell at a realistic starting price. Numbered 0271 from a limited production run of 2200 sets and entitled CHESS NORTHERN SOUL VOLUME 2 on the UNIVERSAL CHESS imprint under catalogue number 5369774 and containing the following seven records;
  • 9775 - YOU WERE JUST FOOLIN' ME by TERRY CALLIER b/w YOU GOT ME BABY by BOBBY McCLURE
  • 9776 - A WHOLE NEW PLAN by JO ANN GARRETT b/w MY SQUARE by JACKIE ROSS
  • 9777 - TALKIN', DREAMIN', BOASTIN' by SUGAR PIE DESANTO b/w A LOVE REPUTATION by DENISE LaSALLE
  • 9778 - A MIGHTY GOOD LOVER by THE VASHONETTES b/w LET'S WADE IN THE WATER by MARLENA SHAW
  • 9779 - MUST I HOLLER by JAMO THOMAS b/w WHY CAN'T I BE YOUR MAN by THE CHESSMEN
  • 9780 - HEAD OVER HEELS (IN LOVE) by GREG PERRY b/w MORE LOVE, THAT'S WHAT WE NEED by THE GOSPEL CLASSICS
  • 9781 - MAKE IT LAST by THE VIBRATIONS b/w TWO IN THE MORNING by SPOONER'S CROWD

These copies all play perfectly throughout with top audible quality and remain in 99% near mint condition and with virtually zero trace of spindle wear having been played through just once or twice since purchased new. Please be aware that all the records in this set have a very small 1 mm edge lift that does not affect play in any way and was common to the vast majority of these sets. The matching paper record sleeves remain in lovely condition with minimal edge wear. All housed in a lidded box that remains intact without any structural damage and showing minimal signs of storage wear around the edges and corners. Complete with the stapled booklet that gives the history of each tune as well as the original download coupon that has never been redeemed albeit, may have an expiry date as the set was purchased new in 2016 (see all picture scans).

From my personal collection that I'm downsizing so why not check my other listings for more great sounds.

The record set will be shipped in a suitable cardboard box with good protection and the cost has been calculated within the listed selling price.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT FEEDBACK WILL ALWAYS BE LEFT BUT ONLY AFTER FIRST RECEIVING THE SAME.
