THE CHILDREN – “Rebirth” (1968) Cinema-1 Super rare original small label pressing VG++/Strong VG+ (cover/record)
This is the super rare original small label pressing of this San Antonio, Texas, band’s sole album that was later re-released on Atco. It’s killer pop-psych with male and female vocals, orchestration, flutes, harpsichord and cool arrangements that create some really interesting moods. The cover is a gatefold with a title sticker on it. You almost never see this version that sports a much cleaner mix than the re-release. Produced by Lelan Rogers.
This is an original copy. The cover has almost no wear to the great psychedelic art – just a little minor cracking along the spine. The vinyl is really clean and glossy and just has some light sleeve scuffs and minor hairlines that don’t really affect play much. It plays really well. I grade this conservatively EX/Strong VG+ (cover/record).

I package all LPs securely in record mailers and remove the vinyl from the covers to prevent seam splits during mailing. I do not just stick your record in a priority mailer box from the post office or between two thin pieces of cardboard with no additional packaging materials like so many others!!!
