TITLE/INFO: OK, it's that time of year again - Christmas!! This hard to find and collectible LP of popular Christmas songs is sung the "made for recordings" group, The Chipmunks - an idea conceived by David Seville (Ross Bagdasarian) back in the early 1960's. The songs are sung by the three Chipmunks, Alvin, Simon, and Theodore, in their chipmunk-like voices, and one song on the album ("The Chipmunk Song") actually became a Top 40 hit with plenty of radio play back in 1962 and thereafter!! The album was first released in 1962 on the Liberty Records label and this record's label has the three chipmunk faces on it, which I believe is the harder version to find anymore. The stereo album is entitled, "Christmas With The Chipmunks" on Liberty Records (LST-7256), and even comes with its original Liberty Records inner sleeve that shows other albums available on the label at this time. The vinyl is in excellent condition, but the jacket does have some flaws - like a 6"x2" tear in the very bottom front corner (see pics), some serious scuff marks along the three seams, and a 6" seam split along the very bottom seam. Other than this though, the rest of the jacket is just fine. But please check out the pictures above as all of the song titles, the vinyl, the labels, and the jacket cover are all clearly visible there. I am selling off my entire personal collection of records and "stuff", and there are 100's more items to list yet.
