Description
I recently had the good fortune to buy a big collection of those rather limited early 80's Garage Punk & Psychedelic compilations LPs from a trusted collector who bought these all at the time....(ummm...from a shop I owned back then, in fact....ah, the cycle of time works in wonderful ways sometimes).
Anyway, this is one of them.
ARTIST: VARIOUS ARTISTS -
TITLE: "THE CHOSEN FEW, VOL.2"

DATE OF RELEASE: 1983 .

ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING? Yes!...

Along with Vol.1, this quite simply, remains one of the TOP TEN garage comps of all. TRACKS: 1 - Ty Wagner with the scotchmen - i'm a no count 2:282 - The romancers - she took my oldsmobile 2:49
3 - Sir michael & the sounds - can you 2:08

14 - The quests - i'm tempted 1:38
15 - The black watch - left behind 2:27 16 - The Plagues -I've been through it before 17 - The Mussies - 12 o'clock
"The Chosen Few - Vol. 1" is considered by many to be the best garage compilation of last year, and
your life is incomplete and shallow without it. Here's Volume Two, and it proves that whoever puts
these out knows what's cool. Though the sound isn't as good as the first one, the selection is just
about as good. Punk insanity reigns throughout, with seventeen screamers to the end. I'd go into the
big review of how this fuzz is cool, that scream is monstrous, on and on, but all the cuts are great, so
just cut theshit and buy it now!

CONDITION:
COVER: (EX)...
VINYL: (M-)...almost as shiny and pristine as the day it left the pressing plant, with just a couple of very mild paper scuffs (like, virtually nothing, right?)...
LABELS: (Side One: MINT / Side Two: MINT)...
If you have any concerns about the accuracy of my gradings, please check my feedback for the odd nice comment from some satisfied folk out there.... (and hopefully you may be able to join their ranks).
You can pay in US$'s or UK pounds or EURO's or Australian dollars.
CLICK ON view sellers other auctions ABOVE FOR SIMILAR ITEMS - I list lots of punk / garage'n'psych (60s –> 90s) / power pop / guitar pop / soul & R'n'B / some occasional original 50's rock'n'roll & rockabilly plus industrial/experimental rarities from down this way - vinyl mostly, and posters, some CDs - (admittedly you’ll find all sorts of other guff too)...
Thanks for considering this item. Best of luck if you decide to bid...Cheers, Jules.
