Description
THE CLASH CBS 77 Dutch LP VG++ VINYL CBS82000 -1A-3B Matrix. You can tell this is a 1st press rather than later pressing as the CBS logo on the rear of the sleeve is in the bottom right hand corner, rather than the top right hand corner that slightly later re-issues have. SLEEVE is not in great shape, has quite excessive wear to spine & top edge & slightly bottom edge which it has slightly split in places to the surface so generally just good to VG condition. LABELS have quite a few spindle marks, but no writing, VINYL is VG+++ condition, almost nr EX condition with a few scuffs & light surface hairlines etc. Play tested great. Has had a professional clean and has been housed in a new Japanese anti static inner sleeve inside the original inner sleeve. item 457
For accurate play grading (like all my records)
This record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable
fitted with a Goldring stylus,
Listened to through full range SD Acoustics speakers
that have superb response and definition on all frequencies.
With a Quad Amp set-up.
For accurate visual grade (like all my records)
This record has been professionally cleaned using an
Okki Nokki cleaning machine.
First clean with purified water and isoproranol alcohol and
finished off with L'art du son / purified water mix.
The alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have
from the manufacturing stage, this hides detail in the sound.
The L'art du son mix seems to smooth out any
brittleness in the alcohol water mix.
