Description

Here we have a classic Punk double album from The Clash entitled 'London Calling'.It was issued in 1979 on the CBS record label and the catalogue no.is CLASH 3.The record is in stereo.

This is the 1st issue with the original black and white labels.

There are 19 tracks and these are :-

Side One   London Calling   Brand New Cadillac   Jimmy Jazz   Hateful   Rudie Can't Fail 

Side Two   Spanish Bombs   The Right Profile   Lost In The Supermarket   Clampdown   The Guns Of Brixton

Side Three   Wrong 'Em Boyo   Death Or Glory   Koka Kola   The Card Cheat  

Side Four   Lover's Rock   Four Horsemen   I'm Not Down   Revolution Rock   Train In Vain (not mentioned in the track listings) 

The records are in excellent condition and all play very well with no jumps or skips.The overall sound is clear and sharp.There is what might be a production mark on Side Three but this does not affect the sound in any way and the record plays perfectly throughout the mark.

The records come with their original inner sleeves detailing the song lyrics and these are in excellent,near perfect,condition.

The cover has been assessed as being in VG+ condition as it is slightly grubby on the reverse and there is some slight fraying in the corners.However,apart from this there are no major marks or blemishes,no rips or tears and no handwriting on the cover.

IN MINT CONDITION THIS ITEM IS VALUED BY RECORD COLLECTOR AT £20 - IN VIEW OF ITS EX/VG+ CONDITION WE HAVE A LOWER STARTING POINT AND NO RESERVE - THIS IS PERHAPS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR FANS OF THE CLASH TO FILL AN IMPORTANT HOLE IN THEIR COLLECTION
