Description

Up for auction is an original US press, still in the factory shrinkwrap copy of 'London Calling' by THE CLASH!!

Comes with the original 'Hype Sticker' proclaiming "18 New Songs From The Only Band That Matters" on the shrinkwrap!
There is also a very early "Parental Advisory" type sticker noting "This Album Includes Lyric Content Which May Be Offensive To Some Members If The Public."  
Perhaps offensive only to Thatcher, the National Front/ KKK and the ilk (Reagan)!!!

It was released on CBS/ Epic at the end of 1979 as E2 36328.

Condition:
Vinyl is in very nice VG++/ EX (just a hair below NEAR MINT) Condition!!!
Record cover is overall well preserved in its original shrikwrap/cellophane. There is light standard shelfwear, with some light edgewear around the opening.
There is a tear in the shrinkwrap on the front near the top starting at the opening.
The inner lyric sleeves are both in decent condition with some edge wear (NOT ripped/torn apart)
Labels are excellent!!
