Description

The Clash "London Calling" original UK double LP album on CBS Records (1979). I believe this to be the 1st UK pressing. The records are NM, very glossy and very few if any marks on the playing surfaces. There is some marking around spindle holes, however, not wear, but just marks. The cover is the thin UK style and i grade it at EX. There is some edge wear and visible ring wear on rear side, but overall very nice, especially considering that these 2 relatively thick records were shipped new and have lived in this thin cover since 1979. Original lyric inner sleeves included, and there is an original in-tact CBS UK sticker on the front cover.This record has been cleaned on a VPI 16.5 record cleaning machine. It will ship with records in premium MFSL inner sleeves and cover in a heavy protective outer sleeve. This was one of my very favorite records in my collection of nearly 500 albums(quality over quantity). And it was perhaps the best sounding overall of any of them, all genres included.
