Fantastic and mega rare original release from one of the most creative and respected punk band's of all time.
The Clash arrived in true punk style, emerging from under the Westway in the late 70's punk rock explosion, carrying on into the 80's and beyond, never compromising but ever changing while retaining their devoted and loyal fan base.
This is one the hardest of ALL the overseas imports of Give Em Enough Rope to track down.
The sleeve features the different font on the Clash logo, the incorrect track list order on the rear sleeve, the Julie's 'IN' The drug squad mistake and the incorrect title for All the young punks which is listed as That's No Way To Spend Your Youth.
The Record was licensed through the Japanese arm of C.B.S so the labels are correct, this is so hard to find in any kind of condition so this is a great find.
The sleeve has a large clash sticker on the front and a small one on the back, someone has also lightly marked around Julie's In The Drug Squad with a biro but only lightly so that's not too bad so apart from a little edge wear it's still in good condition.
The vinyl looks in amazing condition when you consider it's age and looks like it has had minimal play, also unusually the original card sleeve inner stiffener is still in the album so if you wanna know all about the clash then this is an integral part of their story, there was Punk, there was Music but above all that there was simply "THE CLASH"...!
A fantastic Clash album for any serious Clash / Punk rock record collector.
