Beautifully presented original 1980 WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSING of The Clash's legendary triple LP Sandinista! It appears that, on a handful of occasions previously, only Disc 1 has appeared in this format, but this example includes all THREE discs. In addition, there are three sheets of production cue notes - one for each disc - including comprehensive information relating to the presentation of the labels, scheduled release date, catalogue and matrix numbers, language, track titles, credits, publishing info, etc plus a number of amendments that were identified on November 18th and 19th 1980. These include the addition of the exclamation mark after the title, and changes to the spelling of tracks and writing and publishing credits. There are also a few biro marks, including the circling of Mikey Dread's name accompanied by the word "show".

All six sides of vinyl retain a near perfect sheet with just a few ultra-light superficial surface marks - nothing significant - see descriptions below. Looks and sounds like it has only been played on a handful of occasions at most.

Vinyl: There is just an occasional tiny or very small click. Grade - EX/EX+ up to Near Mint

Labels:
All six labels are pristine but for a small amount of writing on five of them: Side One B3? / B4 / Side 3 B4 Carnival B5 / Side 4 / Side 5 / *no writing* (see scans).

Sleeves: Each LP comes in a plain white cardboard sleeve, with a small amount of writing to identify them: 1 + 2, SIDES 3 & 4, 5 / 6. All three sleeves are in excellent condition with just a very small amount of very light bumping to some of the edges and corners.

Production cue sheets: There is a fold in the top left corner of each sheet, due to the original staple which has since been removed, and a light crease to the top right corner of each sheet. In addition, there is a single light bump to the edge of sheets 1 and 2, with some slightly more prominent creasing along the top edge of sheet 3.

Please Note: The higher than normal postage charge reflects the fact that this is a triple LP set. Due to its obvious rarity, it will be sent out by registered / insured mail at no further cost to the buyer.
