Offering A RARE (and now TOTALLY OUT OF PRINT and OUT OF STOCK) Box Set of Vinyl Records from THE CLEANERS OF VENUS featuring MARTIN NEWELL. Only 500 of these were produced! Check other CFV items on eBay, and you will see that their recordings increase in value every year! A "Sound" investment!

4 LP's included (2 single and 1 double). Also inside the box w the sealed LP's are a Cool CFV PIN and a glossy 8X10 Black and White photo of the band! The outer box is silkscreened. The record company did not shrinkwrap these box sets before distributing them, so the outside of the box has a few marks from shipping. Looks very good tho!

Each album has a download code inside!

I am selling this set for the fairest price of any seller on eBay! Yes, there are sellers out there who are trying to gouge buyers at $150.00! What a joke!

THE CLEANERS FROM VENUS BOX SET VOL. 1 CT-145 / CT-146 / CT-147

Lol Elliot and Martin Newell, who together formed the legendary lo-fi band Cleaners From Venus met in the small town of Wivenhow, southeast England at the turn of the 1980s. Newell, a rock singer and part-time kitchen porter who’d left his band the previous summer and Elliot, a drummer and former hippy traveler, had much in common. They shared a love of sunny 1960s pop music, punk rock and musical comedy. Neither Elliot nor Newell cared much for any kind of musical rule book. Both were dismayed by the new right-wing politics which had now taken over the country. Both were in their twenties, had time on their hands and were keen to start something new.

This is The Cleaners From Venus Vol. 1 Box Set, including the first three albums, completely remastered and on vinyl for the first time. Previously only released on small-run cassettes, these three albums carved a niche for the cult band that would go on to become an inspiration to many. Martin Newell never played by the rules and went on to become a success in his own right.
