A rare original issue that's seldom seen, but must rank among the BEST of British Blues!
THE CLIMAX CHICAGO BLUES BAND were often featured at gigs in London, and are worthy exponents of electric guitar blues.
Their excellence is surely at least of a standard alongside MAYALL'S BLUESBREAKERS, TEN YEARS AFTER, SAVOY BROWN, CHICKEN SHACK, FLEETWOOD MAC and THE GROUNDHOGS, and Pete Haycock was among the best guitarists of the era - criminally underrated!
They released 4 of the better albums in the genre - and their brilliance was made clear from this debut album of two first outstanding LPs on this Parlophone lable.
Beatles sound technicians Chris Thomas and Geoff Emerick are also involved here!
CONDITION;
The disc is mostly VG+ to EXCELLENT.
Side 2 has a graze scuff across the first tracks, sounding on track 2 particularly. Everything else plays and sounds nice.
Yellow & Black Lables are EXCELLENT, bright with no stickers or writing
The SINGLE SLEEVE is VG+
Some general wear and aging.
