Larry Levan playlist Classic /I reserve the right to offer this item elsewhere and be able to retract this from sale here on eBay, when sold elsewhere. Please note, this 1977 U.K release has "TIME WARP" as the B side with deeper bass. This track has been haled as a " LOST" early HOUSE track before that genre of music existed , a true "UNICORN " track
The song/tune "TIME WARP" is notable also as a lost breakbeat sought by many, the website Discogs has these comments....
"Still hard to believe this was made in 1977. By the guy who did Electric Avenue ( and Walking on Sunshine !) The first minimal HOUSE track, a good 5 years ahead of its time in an age of extremely rapid musical change where you can sound-date tracks by the time of year when they were made. Hypnotic and timeless, and any DJ worth their salt needs two copies (the Portrait pressings are cheap), because as you will find, this can hold a dance floor for a good 10 minutes.".
"What a great record, that Time Warp is. I can't believe nobody has bothered writing a review of this masterpiece yet. This record is timeless. If it was played in a club nowadays it wouldn't sound out of place at all. Pure groove and beat. A classic tune, produced by Eddy Grant. Something to be truly proud of. I'd love to hear Eddy make some more tunes like this."
This track has been offered on eBay over £150, I feel it is rare, but can be offered at a greatly reduced cost to the interested.

The twelve-inch single (written as 12-inch or 12″) is a type of vinyl (Polyvinyl Chloride or PVC) gramophone record pressed with wider groove spacing and longer playing time than a 7” single and with fewer related sound tracks on each surface, compared to a 12” LP (long play) which have several songs on each side with micro grooves.
This produces louder audible levels to be cut on the disc by the mastering engineer which in turn gives a wider dynamic range, resulting in better and higher sound quality. This record type started to be used in nightclubs / disco’s and with various dance music genres, where DJ's use them as demo discs or one sided promo’s (see “Dub plates”) before record labels saw them as a viable commercial format.
They are played at either 33+1⁄3 or 45 rpm. The conventional 7‐inch single usually holds three or four minutes of music at full volume. The 12‐inch LP sacrifices volume for extended playing time. In 1976 the 12‐inch single was created as a hybrid of the two recording formats.
