THE CONTENTS ARE – Through You. Machu Picchu PICCHU 5. FACTORY SEALED NEW VINYL RECORD ALBUM + 2 VINYL RECORD 7" SINGLES. Originally issued in 1967 in an edition of 100 copies on Rok Records (most likely a derivation of Rock Island, one of the Quad Cities, located along the Mississippi River, of eastern Iowa and northwestern Illinois where the band was based). This edition issued in 2014. Limited edition one time pressing with the addition of 2x7” singles (placed inside of the record jacket) featuring the groups two non-album 45s along with sleeve notes by Jeremy Cargill of Ugly Things magazine and a 4-page photo insert. The album comes housed in a 24 pt. tip-on jacket. This title is no longer available from the label, so don’t miss out. MEMBERS:  Craig Hute (lead guitar, vocals, and composer of all the songs), David Neumann (guitar, vocals), Paul Staack (drums, vocals), and Larry Smith (bass, vocals). DESCRIPTION:  The Contents Are’s debut album was originally issued in 1967 in an edition of just 100 copies. Hailing from Davenport, Iowa, these four young men recorded one incredible song after another, their ambitions well beyond that of the typical group at the time.This record, more rumored than heard, lives at a wild nexus in American culture, simultaneously expansive and reflective, searching for answers in society through music and art. The great German label Shadoks first reissued this legendary set almost ten years ago, and now receives a new deluxe vinyl edition of Through You, this time with the very special addition of the band’s two non-album 45s, originally released on the ROK label (these two singles are seeing their first ever reissue on vinyl; previously only available as CD bonus tracks, and well worth rediscovery). Let this record turn you on to new horizons. Similarities to The Nomadds from Freeport, Illinois with more of a US west coast sound and less British invasion influence.

All LPs are removed from their jackets and placed outside of the jacket for shipping. If an album comes sealed (and will be noted as such in the above description), it will be shipped whole unless you request that I open it up to place the disc outside of the jacket for shipping. Both jacket and disc are placed inside of an outer plastic sleeve before packing for shipping. I use professional corrugated record mailers.

RETURN POLICY:

Please e-mail me with specific details and I will get back to you with your options. I ask that if there is a problem with the item that you contact me as soon as possible after receiving it. Any item that must be returned is done so at the buyer’s expense. Any refund, exchange, or substitution/credit will be at the buyer’s choice, but not made until the original item is received back by me; in the condition as stated in the item description. 

NON-ARRIVAL OF PACKAGES:

US Customers:  Please wait at least two weeks from my confirmed shipping date before contacting me about the non-arrival of your package. All packages are shipped with confirmation/tracking, you will received an automatically generated shipping notice from Ebay e-mail with your tracking number. It has been several years since I’ve had a package not make its US destination, so risk is minimal.

INTERNATIONAL Customers:  Please wait at least 3 weeks from my confirmed shipping date before contacting me about the non-arrival of your package. If security is your concern please have your package registered (see above for fee). I do my best to quickly post packages, but once the package is in the hands of the world’s postal system it is beyond my control. With First-Class Package International Service my only option for investigating the loss of your package is to verify that it left this country to its destination country. Most all delayed/lost packages have disappeared/been delayed after they have reached their destination country. NOTE:  Based on recent buyer feedback, International packages have been moving much slower these days; it is not unusual for a package to take over three weeks for delivery, though normally packages should arrive in 7 to 15 business days.
