THE CRAMPS 45 Garbageman / Drug Train 1980 I.R.S. IR 9014 rare psychobilly punk! ONE OWNER! From the collection of Gary X Indiana
This is a single from "Songs the Lord Taught Us", released in the US on I.R.S. and in the UK on Illegal. Don't know the timing of all that. This is apparently the "First Pressing" although the matrix/runout etchings had 3 variations according to Discogs. Illegal had several other versions of singles with "Garbageman."
Owner purchased this new at Wax Trax in Chicago (see price sticker on shrink wrap) not long after it was released.
Condition Sleeve: EX. Little minor crumple lines here and there. Bottom is a bit scuffed. Top right corner a wee dogeared. About .5" unglued on both sides of opening. Otherwise no, tears, marks. Art and graphics are pristine. Vinyl: VG+. This was fairly well played long ago. Some superficial marks but SOUNDS GREAT. Not a lot of noise on the intros. Labels are pristine, no spindle marks. Could use high-tech cleaning but alas, we still have the ol' Discwasher. Inlay/inner sleeve: NM. Your basic plain white sleeve, no yellowing.
