(Illegal Records ILS 0017 UK 7" Single 1980)
This is a 1980 UK Picture Sleeve 7" Single 1st pressing. This is the very earliest pressing which has the "withdrawn" Picture Sleeve. This has the band in one photo. The 2nd picture sleeve pressing has the band in four separate windows. The picture sleeve is top opening. It is printed on thin matte card. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has solid paper "Illegal" labels. It has 1st press ILS 0017 A-1 and ILS 0017 B-1 matrix numbers. "NB H" and "NB AA" are machine etched on the dead wax on the A and B-side respectively.
A classic early 1980's Psychobilly/ Punk UK 7" Single. This is a genuine UK 1st pressing with the earliest matrix numbers, and the hard to find withdrawn picture sleeve. These are quite rare. Sleeve: There is moderate to considerable hairline rubbing wear on the bottom edge, and both side edges too. There is light, mild or more moderate rubbing wear on the top opening edges on some areas. There is some light, mild or very mild ringwear on some areas. There are no seam splits. Overall, Very Good condition.
Vinyl: There is a small thumb-tip sized area of mild surface sleeve rub marks, or surface rub marks, on both the A and B side. These can only be seen under a strong light. There are a few light, very mild or very minor sleeve rubs which can hardly be seen under a strong light. The picture sleeve, over time, has left some light, very mild or very minor dull surface marks on a few areas. These, again, can hardly be seen under a strong light. The picture sleeve, however, has left a very mild 2 cm surface streak mark on the A-side. Overall, Very Good++ condition. Not too far from being in Near Excellent condition. The labels are in Excellent+ condition and show minimal spindle wear only.
I have play tested this single in its entirety & it plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall, & Excellent+ in some places. There is some light, mild, very mild or very minor crackle in a very few quieter places. There are a very few mild or very mild clicks at the vary end of the A-side. Overall, a great audio copy!
I shall place the vinyl into a separate plain paper sleeve. This will protect the original picture sleeve from any damage during the shipping process.

MINT Condition = A perfect copy! Almost impossible to find like this.
NEAR MINT Condition = Very nearly mint just slightly under, There may be a very few, very light paper surface sleeve rubs that can hardly be seen under strong light. This disc has been played a couple of times at most. The sleeve is virtually perfect - there is very minimal wear only.
EXCELLENT Condition = A clean & tidy copy that shows minimal defects. There will be light, very mild or very minor surface sleeve rubs. There will be no scratches. The cover will be very nice & clean with maybe minimal creasing, ringwear or edge rubbing wear etc...
NEAR EXCELLENT Condition = You can tell this record has been played a few times, but it has been well cared for. There will be minor surface marks only. The sleeve may have light, mild or very mild creasing,ringwear & very mild rubbing wear to the edges etc.... Overall, it will be a very serviceable copy that you will be pleased with.
Very Good Condition = A well played but very decent overall copy. There will be a few marks on the vinyl, but they won't be nasty scratches, just relatively light needle scuffs and sleeve removal marks, they will be noticeable but won't detract from play too much. Cover will show signs of storage/ ageing, e.g., creasing, slight folding, spinewear, ringwear or sticker tears etc... The record will not be trashed!!
Please note that I also use "+" or "-" symbols for this grading. A plus symbol is obviously at the top end of "Very Good" & is really not far from being in "near excellent" condition. The minus symbol obviously means it is at the lower end. This will mean that it is near to being in "Good+" condition.

Royal Mail have very recently increased their postage rates. So I have revised my postage costs to reflect their increases. (Please note that these prices include packaging costs too)
Double LPs are classed as two LPs. Also posters, inserts, etc.. can increase postage costs.
All records will be sent in high quality vinyl mailers with at least two card stiffeners either side of the LP or 7" Single. I use a cruciform box for larger orders (3-6 LPs). All parcels will be marked "Fragile" and dispatch time will generally be between 1-3 days after payment.
I will also remove the vinyl from the sleeve & place them in a re-sealable polythene sleeve. In order to prevent seam splits. Depending on the inner sleeve; I often remove the vinyl from the inner sleeve & place it in a separate plain paper, or polythene-lined, plain inner sleeve. I am very conscientious and careful when packaging your LP(s).
I consider my postage & packaging costs to be very transparent & very fair. Packaging costs will generally be between £0.80 to £1.50.
