Description
Up for auction is a clean copy of the special Limited Edition of The Cramps album "...Off The Bone" originally released in the U.K. on Ilegal Records (ILP 012) in 1983. This is a guaranteed, original first U.K. pressing, not a reissue or European pressing like most you'll find on eBay.
Includes the special 3-D cover and 3-D glasses. Cover also features the rare first issue Hype sticker in upper left corner (see photo); very few copies have this original hype sticker. No UPC/bar code on cover. Cover states, "Made in the U.K." Vinyl disc comes in a poly-lined audiophile protective inner sleeve.
Correct first pressing markings in the Matrix deadwax: ILP 012 A1 "What colour panties are you wearing?" ILP 012 B1 "And how long have you been wearing them?"
Cover is in beautiful condition, with virtually no signs of previous wear or handling. Front is super clean, no ring wear, no rubbing. Corners are sharp, not bumped or rubbed. Seams are strong, no splits, no rubbing. Back is clean, no wear. No bends, very flat. One of the nicest examples of this cover you will find. Grade the cover Near Mint (NM), my highest grade.
Vinyl is in very nice condition, still retaining its original high gloss shine. No obvious scratches, generally very clean. Though there are some very faint light marks and a couple light hairlines on Side Two, probably from taking the vinyl in and out of the inner sleeve--they cannot be felt, nor do they affect the quality of the playback. Labels are clean, no marks around the spindle holes, indicating little previous play. Not pristine, but very clean and very well-preserved vinyl. Grade the vinyl as Excellent (EX), still very attractive.
