Description
THE CREATION- MAKING TIME / TRY AND STOP ME- 7". THERE FIRST SINGLE.
PLANET RECORDS. PLF116. 1966. MATRIX: 1F1 / 2F1.
CONDITION: N/A / VG+. This does not have its correct company sleeve, actually a Parlophone original from the 1960s. Both labels are quite clean with a few dirt/finger marks and a little fraying to the top of the centre-hole on side A. Little more than a few spindle trails seen under a bright light.
The vinyl retains its new shine, side one has 3 or 4 visible very small and light scratches, under a strong light a few feather scratches can also be seen. Side two has one long visible thin scratch and a few other very small and light feather scratches. I have test played this through both sides and found the mentioned scratches to be just about non-audible. Only at the very beginning of side one could a few background crackles be heard, these soon completely clear, going onto play with an occasional, un-noteworthy, quiet background feckle heard through both sides. The audio itslef for a mono recording is strong and, as stated, for the most part completely clear, playing with no distortion, fading or dragging and certainly playing with no major deterioation in sound quality. Taking into account this does have a few visible surface marks and plays with quiet background crackles in places a grading of very good+ is probably a little harsh, but correct, with the audio being better than graded.
