7" Single on the Planet Label. PLF.119
B-side BIF, BANG, POW 1966 ..
Condition is "Used/Excellent".
Dispatched with Royal Mail, "Signed for" 1st Class. Packed in reinforced cardboard record sleeve.
The Creation is an English Mod/Rock band of 4 guys formed in 1966.
Best known songs include Making Time and Painter Man in 67.
Painter man incidentally was covered in their own style by Boney M in 1979 which made it to no10 in the charts.
Making Time was also used in the movie "Rushmore" in 1998..
The Creation's Eddie Phillip's was also the first guy to play a guitar using a bow. This was later emulated by Led Zeppelin, and others !!
They saw many members come and go, about 10 in fact, and even Ronnie Wood was a member at some point apparently.
The record itself is in Excellent clean condition, no scratches. No writing or pen marks on the record or sleeve.
It comes with the clean original Planet sleeve in a plastic cover.
I have seen only one other copy on the original Planet Label on ebay, therefore I'm assuming it must be quite rare. Ideal for a Mod/ Freakbeat collection.
Meanwhile, also the record comes from a pet and smoke free home.
