Description
NB. I am listing a very rare 2LP set from ex Fall member Mark Riley and The Creepers - This 2LP is a GREAT introduction to the band and extremely hard to find as it was not pressed in many units [CD is possibly even more difficult!) It is in EXCEPTION Condition and I can only recomend it to any FANS of THE FALL.. [If you've never heard them. Google "Baby's On Fire" on You Tube and you'll see they were no slouches!!!]
Anyone interested. I have their other 2 RARE LPs "Miserable Sinners" & Fancy Meeting God" which if bought with this I'd throw in at £10 a piece!" [Both are barely played as I taped all my Vinyl back then (then CD later) and only played them on Pioneer Equpment on Special Occaisions!

The Creepers were an English rock music group, formed in Manchester in 1982, originally as Marc Riley & The Creepers.[1] After being dismissed from The Fall by Mark E. Smith, Marc Riley formed his own record label (In-Tape) with Jim Khambatta,[2] and his own band.[1] The first single "Favourite Sister" was followed up with "Jumper Clown", which poked fun at his previous band's singer.
A Peel Session was the source of the next release in 1984, with a compilation of these early releases, Cull, following the same year. First album proper, Gross Out, appeared in June 1984. 1985 saw the release of second album Fancy Meeting God as well as a swansong live album Warts 'n' All towards the end of the year.
Riley then recruited ex-Membranes Mark Tilton and Phil Roberts of Shrubs, and carried on as simply "The Creepers".[1] With a more sophisticated sound, the first release under this name was a cover of Brian Eno's "Baby's On Fire", with the album Miserable Sinners following later the same year. After signing to Red Rhino, a further single, Brute and album Rock 'n' Roll Liquorice Flavour appeared in 1987 and 1988 respectively. Sleeper: a retrospective, followed in 1989.
The band briefly became The Lost Soul Crusaders before splitting up.[1][2]

The LP features rare recordings of both 'Captain Beefheart And His Magic Band" and 'The Pink Floyd's on-stage Performances at the "Actuel Festival" - Amougies, Belgium in November 1969.
The vinyl is a two-color 'explosive ray' effect, 'bursting outward' from the paper labels (Not unlike a 2-color version of the original Buddah label) It was released in one of 2 colors; Blue/Black or Sepia/Black [quantities of each uncertain.]
Side A: Label shows Frank Zappa onstage at the Actuel Festival playing with Pink Floyd members 'Waters & Mason.' -
Side B: Label shows Captain Beefheart & Frank Zappa at the same event.
The 'cover insert' indicates this is a "Limited Collectors Edition On Colored Vinyl.." There are 3 cover inserts, two with Zappa/Pink Floyd main pic & Zappa/Beefheart inset (One normal/One blown-up) The other (This copy) with The Magic Band as the main pic & Zappa/Pink Floyd inset.
