THIS RARE 78rpm BY THE CRESTS WAS A LIMITED RE-ISSUE IN THE EARLY 1970'S BY CORONATION MUSIC (BMI) ON THE U.S. COED LABEL # CO-506 SONGS ARE: 16 CANDLES & BESIDE YOU. THIS ONE IS A NEW OLD STOCK, NEVER PLAYED 78 WITH GLOSS AND LUSTER AS YOU WOULD EXPECT TO SEE ON A NEW ONE, AND IT GRADES AS A MINT. I SELDOM USE MINT TO GRADE A RECORD, BUT THIS ONE IS AN EXCEPTION. IT IS MEANT TO BE PLAYED ON EQUIPMENT WITH A LITE TONE ARM, AND NOT WITH THE OLD HEAVY NEEDLES. These Collectable 78's are getting very hard to find anymore, and the good ones are quickly becoming scarce. This 78 is from the large collection of Rock & Roll and R&B 78's that I have in my personal collection, and it would pay to mark this site as one of your favorites as there will be plenty more to come.
