On offer here is a VERY rare EP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Crickets (Featuring Buddy Holly) called "That'll Be The Day" EP and is an ORIGINAL 1960 UK Coral 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Coral label!!!! See label pictures for track details. THIS EP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE CRICKETS RAREST EP's EVER AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS EP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1960 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS CORAL LABEL, 1ST PRESS 1T/1T MATRIXES, AND 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER!!!! THIS EP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL 1960 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Coral label and the Cat No is FEP 2062.
The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The record is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 50s/60s EPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This record is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! The record also has a very VERY slight 'shine' to it (only visible under the most EXTREME light possible!) - so perhaps this suggests this record may have been cleaned at some point? Either way this is VERY minor indeed and does NOT affect play in the slightest!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also GREAT to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some MEGA low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL which plays SUPERBLY!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The 1st Press Flipback Laminated Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in GREAT condition with NO grubbyness, barely ANY yellowing AT ALL, NO rubbing, only 1 TINY indentation in the top right corner, only 2 or 3 TINY touches of wear towards the VERY bottom, and NO writing!!!! This cover must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! THIS EP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
