Description
A great opportunity to buy a copy of a RARE 7 inch VINYL single from the 80s by The Cure Maniax called "The Cure Maniax EP".
This is one of only 1000 copies pressed. 800 were sold and the remainder got scratched out on the track Black Horse on side 2 and the title painted out on the sleeve.
This is a U.K. pressing released in 1981 on the Next Wave Records label (NXT 2 BNK 1) with 4 tracks:-
Frenzie / The Russians Are Coming / Black Horse / Death March.
The vinyl is in a clean and shiny VERY GOOD condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and there are some light surface marks noticeable, but nothing serious. I have played both sides and they play fine and sound great.
The labels are clean and free from any stickers, writing or major defects.
The matrix numbers etched in the dead wax are:- NXT 2 BNK 1-A-1 and NXT 2 BNK 1-AA-1.
The vinyl is housed within a picture sleeve in only a FAIR condition. It has many creases and obvious ringwear and also wear along the opening edge and a biro scribble in the top corner. Surprisingly the edges are pretty strong with only a small seam split in a top corner.
This is a rare and collectable original Punk single and should be of interest to avid collectors.
