Description

Up for auction is a beautiful original pressing of The Cure album Disintegration, originally released in the U.S. on Elektra Records (60855-1) in 1989:
-Guaranteed original pressing, not recent reissue -MASTERDISK etched in deadwax -1-1 etched in deadwax
-Original cover with "spider web" finish (see photo) -Original illustrated labels -Original inner sleeve w/ lyrics -Vinyl comes in poly audiophile inner sleeve
Note: The very earliest pressings have a rare "spider web" or "broken glass" looking finish on the cover (see photo close-up).  Later pressings do not have this feature.
Condition: The cover is in very nice condition, still has its shiny original finish.  No signs of significant wear or age, no ring wear.  A couple corners have a small amount of rub (see photos).  Has a couple light creases along spine.  Top middle seam shows a small cracking, not serious (see photo). Still looks fresh and clean overall, and well preserved. Grade: Excellent (EX), better than typical VG+ copies

Vinyl looks beautiful, still has its original glossy shine.  No scratches or scuffs, labels are clean and unmarked.  Looks like it possibly could be un-played or played only once--but handled with great care.  Inner sleeve is clean.  Hard to upgrade. Grade: Near Mint (NM)
