2012 EU Record Store Day exclusive 8-track LP, featuring Seventeen Seconds on heavyweight 180-gram grey-coloured vinyl with MP3 download voucher; presented in a single sleeve and restricted to 2,500 individually numbered copies worldwide as part of the 'Back To Black' series and sold on April 21 through shops participating in Record Store Day.

This edition is a true collector’s item, and marks the first time Robert Smith’s remastered version of the album has been available on vinyl.

This LP remains sealed from new in the original manufactur's shrink wrap with the custom sticker still attached over shrink on front cover, and therefore mint and unplayed!. The shrink wrap is still intact with no tears, and the jacket is in excellent condition with no bent corners, cuts, ring wears, creases, seams or other flaws. This is the low numbered 149 out of 2500. An absolutely stunning copy. See the images to the bottom of the page. Any visible white spots are shine from the lighting and are NOT defects.

The original idea for Record Store Day was conceived by Chris Brown, and was founded in 2007 by Eric Levin, Michael Kurtz, Carrie Colliton, Amy Dorfman, Don Van Cleave and Brian Poehner as a celebration of the unique culture surrounding over 700 independently owned record stores in the USA, and hundreds of similar stores internationally. 

This is the one day that all of the independently owned record stores come together with artists to celebrate the art of music. Special vinyl and CD releases and various promotional products are made exclusively for the day and hundreds of artists in the United States and in various countries across the globe make special appearances and performances. Festivities include performances, cook-outs, body painting, meet & greets with artists, parades, djs spinning records and on and on. Metallica officially kicked off Record Store Day at Rasputin Music in San Francisco on April 19, 2008 and Record Store Day is now celebrated the third Saturday every April.
