Description
(Apologies to previous bidders - the earlier listing had the description of the wrong album hence I had to cancel the first listing).
Scare Japanese pressing of The Cure's classic 1985 album The Head on The Door.
This is the original 1st pressing on the short-lived independent Japanese label VAP Records.
Complete with original OBI strip which is intact and has the Japanese lettering stating British Front Line and includes the Limited Edition colour booklet.
Vinyl is MINT and UNPLAYED in its polythene slip bag. Outer sleeve is NM- good and firm and no creases. Still in its polythene sleeve as issued. Foldout 12" lyric and biography insert included plus the limited edition 12 page full 12" colour booklet which was included with the first pressings only.
The sleeve has a hole punch, denoting the record is an import (i.e. not bought in Japan), in the bottom front right hand corner which goes through the VAP logo a bit messily (see pics). As normal this has clipped the inserts, neatly, in their respective corners - again see pics.
Very nice rare Japanese pressing - my only copy from my personal collection.
