Description
Very rare limited initial pressing of The Cure's 1978 debut single on the Small Wonder record label. It is in it's original picture sleeve - including the small dripping tap picture on the reverse. (The single was reissued on the Fiction label soon after this initial pressing sold out. It came with different labels and in a similar sleeve but without the dripping tap on the back.)
Track titles are "Killing An Arab" on side one, with "10.15 Saturday Night" on side two.
The record is on the Small Wonder Records label, catalogue number SMALL 11.
Inscriptions in the runout grooves read "SMALL 11 - A1" plus "STRAWBERRY" on the first side with "SMALL 11 - B1" plus "STRAWBERRY" on the second side.
The vinyl shows only very slight surface marking. There are no 'skips' on playback of either side. The 'A' side has four slight 'clicks' that can be heard in the opening fifteen seconds and a few more during the last thirty seconds. The 'B' side reveals a little 'crackling' during the first twenty seconds and then just an occasional 'click' or 'pop' during the remainder of the track. There are negligible spindle marks on the centre label. Overall condition: "Very Good".
The glossy card sleeve has some light ringmarking and a little creasing around the opening edge. Condition: "Very Good".
