Description
This is the KISS ME KISS ME KISS ME double vinyl album by THE CURE, original 1987 limited edition release on Fiction Records, Cat. No. FIXH 13, complete with orange vinyl 12" making three records altogether. All covers are intact including clear cover housing 12" record and outer clear cover housing the whole package. Condition varies throughout the package (hence low starting price for an item such as this) from VG to VG+ but the record grades provided by Ebay are vague and also subject to interpretation so I've detailed each part below. Apologies for poor quality photo's, I only have my tablet to take pics with. Here are full details of condition, starting with the sleeves/covers:
Outer clear cover: black and orange sticker intact. Very top left corner has a half inch split. Sleeve is dulled and has ringwear from the 12" and is overall well handled but no big splits.
Inner clear cover housing orange vinyl 12": Apart from a 5-6" split on the bottom edge, it is clean and in very good condition. Etching of band name and album title still clear and intact.
Main album sleeve: There is a crease at top and bottom right front, more like stress marks as they're not creases as in it's been folded. Ac ouple of very mild stress marks at the top edge. Sleeve has some ringwear but is overall in very good condition.
Inner lyric sleeve #1: Very good condition. Handled and with ringwear but no splits, tears or creases.
Inner lyric sleeve #2: Very good condition. Well handled and with ringwear but no splits, tears or creases.
RECORDS
Side 1: Matrix in runout grooves is FIX 13 A 7 (very hard to see but looks like 7, could be 1). Side 1 has a couple of marks but overall looks clean. There are crackles at the start and in between tracks but doesn't detract from playing.
Side 2: Matrix: FIXH 13 B 3 (very hard to see, but looks like 3). Side 2 looks clean but crackles at the start and in between tracks but doesn't detract from playing.
Side 3: Matrix FIXH C1 Side 3 looks clean. There are light crackles at the start but then it's fine.
Side 4: Matrix FIXH13 D3 Side 4 looks clean. There are light crackles at the start and in between tracks but it doesn't detract from playing.
12" orange vinyl:
Side 1: Matrix is FIX HA 13 A. Some scratches can be seen. It is very crackly on playing. There are a couple of clicks (not jumps) towards the end of side 2.
Side 2: Matrix is FIX HA 13 B. It is very crackly on playing and there are a few clicks (not jumps) during the final track.
